By posting or uploading each work file to LOOP.GL you confirm that the work and its content are results of your genuine and authentic work or art and that it does not infringe any third party rights and you confirm your acceptance of terms of the London Loop Exhibition, including right of the organizer to showcase, publish and market selected works and use it within the London Loop marketing campaign.

Official Rules of the Loop.gl Contest

On the 20 April 2018 the Sponsor has decided as allowed by the Article 6.21 of the Official Rules of the Loop.gl Contest to modify the Contest in parts:


  1. Preamble
    1. No purchase or payment of any kind is necessary to enter or to win this contest. You must be 18 years of age (or the later age of majority in respective jurisdiction) or older. The contest is open to all eligible participants. Void where prohibited. To receive any prize the Contestant must beforehand fulfil all conditions and requirements set herein.
    2. Participation in the Loop.gl contest (“Contest”) constitutes Contestant’s and Voter’s full and unconditional agreement to and acceptance of these Official Rules.
    3. Contest is arranged and sponsored by company GREEN LIGHT VISION LTD with registered office at 15 Stopher House, Webber Street, London, SE10RE, Reg. No.08163137, registered in the Registrar of Companies for England and Wales on behalf of itself and of the company Green Light Solutions s.r.o., corporate ID No. 24662828, with registered office at Vyskočilova 1561/4a, 140 00 Praha, Czech Republic, registered in Commercial Register maintained by the Municipal Court in Prague under file No. C 164322 (both as “Sponsor”).
  2. DEADLINE FOR ENTRIES
    1. Entries will be accepted through Loop.gl website submission form located at https://loop.gl/london-loop/submit between 00:01 (GMT) on Thursday 1 March 2018 and 23:59 (GMT) on Sunday, 15 April 2018.
    2. Entries eligible for the daily London Poster Display are to be submitted between 00:01 (GMT) on Thursday 1 March 2018 and 23:59 (GMT) on Monday, 26 March 2018.
  3. ELIGIBILITY
    1. Contest is open to individuals who are 18 years of age (or the later age of majority in respective jurisdiction) or older on the 28 February 2018.
    2. To participate in the Contest, each Contestant must create a Loop.gl Free tier account under which the Contestant submits entries. The Contestant must register the Loop.gl account with valid e-mail address under the real name of the Contestant.
    3. There can be only one named Contestant per entry and each Contestant can submit maximally 5 entries into the Contest irrespective of categories of entries. Any Contestant shall not register multiple Loop.gl account to submit more entries to circumvent this condition. Regardless of the number of entries entered, each Contestant is only eligible to be awarded 1 prize in the Contest, excluding the Grand Prix prize.
    4. No group entries are eligible.
    5. Employees, independent contractors, officers, and directors of Sponsor; its affiliates, subsidiaries, advertising, promotion, and fulfilment agencies, and legal advisors; the judging panel; and the immediate family members and persons living in the same household of such persons are not eligible to participate in the Contest.
  4. Entries
    1. All entries must be supplied digitally via the Loop.gl page located at https://loop.gl/london-loop/submit under the Loop.gl account of the Contestant. Entries submitted in any other way, including by email or hard copy, will not be accepted.
    2. Entries must be supplied as a high-resolution high-quality JPG, PNG or BMP in portrait format. The entries shall fit into dimensions of width 800px and height 1200px. This requirement applies to entries in all categories. Crop tool is provided during the upload.
    3. The official language of the Contest is English. All entries should be in English.
    4. No responsibility can be accepted for incorrectly uploaded entries or those that are illegible or corrupted. Proof of sending is not proof of receipt. Entries via agents or third parties are invalid and shall not be considered.
    5. Only submissions that meet the basic criteria of entry will be considered. Each entry must meet the requirements as specified in these Official rules. Any nonconforming entries will be disqualified.
    6. Altered, defaced, mutilated, illegible, or incomplete entries are not eligible and will result in disqualification of entry.
    7. Consent: You must have gained consent, permission from any person, or persons, featured or included, in your work.
    8. Entries will be disqualified at any time, in Sponsor’s sole discretion, if they contain or promote any of the following:
      1. Political content– i.e. lobby groups, pressure groups and political parties;
      2. Religious bodies;
      3. Content promoting betting and gambling;
      4. Content promoting adult services including escort agencies and premium rate telephone numbers for adult chat services;
      5. Content promoting weapons, weapon manufacturers and gun clubs;
      6. Content promoting, encouraging or facilitating violence;
      7. Content promoting the occult;
      8. Content that is misleading, violent, lewd, pornographic, sexually explicit, defamatory, or that contain illegal, or otherwise actionable content under UK law;
      9. Content that encourage or facilitate anti-social behaviour;
      10. Content which contains exaggerated, misleading or false claims;
      11. Content that might cause offence or harm.
      12. Content that includes any registered brand or copyrighted trademarks.
      13. Content containing images of celebrities, or images created that clearly depict celebrities.
  5. Categories
    1. Each Contestant is required to fill each entry under a title describing the entry and fill each entry into appropriate category. The Contestant is fully responsible to fill the entry into the right category. The Sponsor may, but is not obliged to, from time to time in his sole discretion, sort entries into appropriate categories.
    2. Entries will be divided into 5 categories:
      1. Design
      2. Photography - Images photographic in nature and unaltered or digitally enhanced or artistically manipulated.
      3. Illustration - Appropriate entries include, but are not limited to, abstract illustrations, editorial illustrations that are used to convey information or clarify concepts; narrative illustration, etc.
      4. Painting
      5. Writing
    3. Sponsor and/or judges reserve the right to remove duplicate entries from any categories they choose.
  6. TERMS AND CONDITIONS OF ENTRY / Contest process / Selection of Winners and Prizes
    1. There is no fee to enter the Contest, the Contestant must only register for the Loop.gl Free Account in order to upload entries for the Contest.
    2. The Contest is divided into the following two phases:
      1. General contest including overall publicity contest and time limited London Poster Display contest
      2. Shortlist contest
    3. General contest and time limited London Poster Display - General contest runs between Thursday, 1 March 2018 and Sunday, 15 April 2018. For entries to be eligible to be displayed on the London Poster Display it must be submitted before 23:59 (GMT) on Monday, 26 March 2018, entries submitted after such time may be displayed on the London Poster Display only based on the sole discretion of the Sponsor.
    4. Contestants submit their entries into the gallery on the Loop.gl contest site under their Loop.gl account to be publicly displayed and voted upon by voters.
    5. All entries will be publicly displayed in the Loop.gl online gallery where Voters – people, who register for the Loop.gl Account, will cast votes in voting rounds for the category most liked entries. Voting rounds are 24 hours long starting on 17:00 GMT, except the first voting round, which shall be 5 days long, and 3 voting rounds which shall be 48 hours long each due to charity contributions days. Charity contributions days shall be 11 March 2018, 18 March 2018, 25 March 2018 (“Charity days”).
    6. Each day, except first 5 days of the contest and days immediately preceding 3 Charity days, the internal voting rounds new votes counter for each entry will reset at the end of the voting round at 16:59 GMT and at 17:00 GMT new voting round begins. First 5 days of the Contest form one voting round. On days immediately preceding 3 Charity days the internal voting rounds new votes counter will not reset at 16:59 GMT but will reset on 16:59 GMT of the Charity days forming voting round with duration of 48 hours. Each entry has publicly displayed counter with total number of accumulated votes.
    7. London Poster Displays contest runs between 1 March 2018 and 28 March 2018, with Charity days exception. Top 10 most newly voted entries within voting round from each category, total of 50 entries each day, shall be displayed on the second following day on the London Poster Displays. First most voted entries shall be displayed on 8 March 2018. The 50 entries getting most votes on 26 March 2018 are the last entries to be displayed on the London Poster Displays on 28 March 2018. The Sponsor has a right to fill additional 22 London Poster Displays with any or no entry to provide additional publicity for the Contest at the sole discretion of the Sponsor. On Charity days materials about Sponsor’s chosen charity projects will be displayed instead of Contest entries.
    8. From 28 March 2018 till 15 April 2018 only the online daily voting for entries on the Loop.gl website will be active as the London Poster Display contest is time limited. After midnight of 15 April 2018 all cast votes from all daily rounds will be counted and Shortlist of top 10 overall most voted entries from each category, total of 50 entries, will be produced and presented to the judges’ panel.
    9. From 28 March 2018 till 15 April 2018 only the online daily voting for entries on the Loop.gl website will be active as the London Poster Display contest is time limited. After 16:59 GMT of 15 April 2018 all cast votes from all voting rounds will be counted and Shortlist of top 10 overall most voted entries from each category, total of 50 entries, will be produced and presented to the judges’ panel.
    10. All Contestants will receive a promotional gift of 2 months of free usage of the Loop.gl Plus Plan. Before the promotional period expires, should the Contestant wish to continue to use the Loop.gl Plus Plan the Contestant is required to input billing details and pay the fee for the Loop.gl Plus Plan after the expiration of the 2 months of promotion. Otherwise the Contestant’s account will become Loop.gl Free Account.
    11. Shortlist contest - On 17 April 2018 the shortlist will be judged by judges’ panel comprising from 5 judges, one third of the panel will be representatives of the Sponsor and two thirds will be independent judges of high reputation chosen by the Sponsor.
    12. The judges’ panel will choose one category winning entry from each category and also one silver (1st runner-up) and one highly-recommended (2nd runner-up) entry from each category. Contestant submitting category winning entry is eligible to receive a prize consisting of cash amount of £ 1,000 (tax paid) and a trophy. Contestant submitting silver and Contestant submitting highly-recommended entries are eligible to receive a prize consisting of a small trophy.
    13. The judges’ panel will choose one Grand Prix winning entry from all category winning entries. Contestant submitting Grand Prix winning entry is eligible to receive a prize consisting of a cash amount of £ 10,000 (tax paid) and a trophy
    14. The winning entries will be the ones, which, in the opinion of the judges, are of the best quality and aesthetics expected from works submitted into Contest. The judges’ decisions are final and binding.
    15. However, if, at the sole discretion of the judges, none or any of the entries in one or any of the categories is of a sufficiently high standard to merit it, no category winning entry, silver, highly recommended or Grand Prix winning entry may be determined. The judges’ decisions are final and binding.
    16. Winner announcement - Contestant who submitted Grand Prix winning entry, category winning entry, silver or highly recommended entries will be contacted by Sponsor through e-mail address as registered in the Contestant’s Loop.gl account on 20 April 2018 with the private announcement of the prize awarded. The Contestant will be asked whether the Contestant wishes to receive the prize.
    17. Should the Contestant agree to receive the prize the Contestant is required to arrange his / her travel and accommodation to participate on 2018 London Loop Event which will take place in London, United Kingdom on 9 May 2018, the place of event will be further specified at latest in the private announcement e-mail. Personal participation on the 2018 London Loop Event is mandatory in order to receive the prize.
    18. If any Contestant who is contacted does not respond within 7 days, the judge’s panel will decide whether other or next shortlisted entry will be awarded in place of the non-communicating Contestant’s entry and such additional chosen Contestant shall be contacted through e-mail.
    19. All merited entries and awarded prizes will be publicly announced on 24 April 2018 on the Loop.gl website, social networks and in other promotion channels or materials, including promotion of the 2018 London Loop event held on 9 May 2018 in London where the winners shall receive their prizes for their entries.
    20. General terms and conditions - All prizes are non-transferable and not interchangeable.
    21. Events may occur that render the Contest itself or the awarding of the prizes impossible due to reasons beyond the control of the Sponsor. The Sponsor may, at its absolute discretion, vary or amend the Contest and the rules thereof and the winners agree that, in such event, no liability shall attach itself to the Sponsor, provided that any substituted prize shall be of no lesser value.
    22. Sponsor may disqualify any Contestant whose entry does not comply with these terms and conditions (in Sponsor’s sole opinion) or who, in Sponsor’s sole determination, has acted in a manner that is fraudulent, dishonest or unjust to other Contestants including, without limitation, tampering with the operation of the Contest, manipulating or rigging votes, hacking, deceiving, cheating or by harassing or threatening other Contestants, the panel or a representative of Sponsor.
  7. Voters draw
    1. All conditions and requirements set herein for Contestants also apply to Voters where applicable, especially condition of being of age of 18 years or older at latest on 28 February 2018 and prohibition of registering more than one Loop.gl account.
    2. All terms and conditions herein, especially in Articles1, 8 and 10 also apply to the Voters regarding Voters draw.
    3. Voters participating in the Contest by casting votes for the entries are required to register for the Loop.gl Free Account and must register with their real name and valid e-mail address.
    4. Each Voter can vote only once for any or each entry during the Contest.
    5. All Voters will receive a promotional gift of 2 months of free usage of the Loop.gl Plus Plan. Before the promotional period expires, should the Voter wish to continue to use the Loop.gl Plus Plan the Voter is required to input billing details and pay the fee for the Loop.gl Plus Plan after the expiration of the 2 months of promotion. Otherwise the Voter’s account will become Loop.gl Free Account.
    6. Each Voter account will be considered only once in the draw irrespective of the number of votes the Voter has given to entries.
    7. All Voters accounts are also participating in randomly determined prize promotion draw. One Voter, who will be determined by computerized random selection from all Voters accounts on 17 April 2018 shall receive a prize comprising of a weekend roundtrip to NYC to visit the Guggenheim gallery. The winning Voter will be contacted through e-mail. If the winning Voter does not accept the prize within 7 days, the Sponsor may repeat the random selection and select another Voter account and invalidating the first winning Voter selection. The Winning Voter account will be made public from 24 April 2018.
    8. Should the Voter agree to receive the prize the Voter is required to arrange his / her travel and accommodation to participate on 2018 London Loop Event which will take place in London, United Kingdom on 9 May 2018, the place of event will be further specified at latest in the private announcement e-mail. Personal participation on the 2018 London Loop Event is mandatory in order to receive the prize of the roundtrip to NYC.
    9. The prize of roundtrip to NYC includes only the following: airplane tickets for two persons (Voter + 1 person) from London to NYC and back in economy class (on Thursday flight from London to NYC and on Sunday flight from NYC to London), accommodation in a five stars hotel for 2 persons with breakfast and dinner (for 3 nights), 2 tickets to Guggenheim gallery for the respective Saturday. No other costs and expenses are covered by the Sponsor and the Sponsor is in no obligation to cover any other costs and expenses. The receiving Voter is responsible for all other costs and expenses and living costs incurred during the roundtrip including among others all necessary visas, insurance, hospitality and medical costs, permits to attend and costs of transportation from their city of residence to London airport etc. The winning Voter can set the date of the trip to any single weekend (from Thursday to Sunday) within 12 months from 9 May 2018, subject of availability of airplane tickets, accommodation and tickets for the gallery.
    10. The winning Voter shall communicate his preference of date at least 30 days before intended departure. The winning Voter can only choose one weekend and after it is confirmed by the Sponsor, the Voter cannot later change his choice for any reason. If the winning Voter cannot attend the roundtrip on the chosen weekend for any reason, the roundtrip will be cancelled, and no refund or substitution will be offered. The Sponsor reserves right to reconsider the cancellation of the roundtrip in case of an act of God, a case of force majeure or an act of terror occurring in London or New York preventing the roundtrip from commencing.
    11. The roundtrip cannot be exchanged for any other thing or cash, the roundtrip is also non-transferrable, the Voter must attend the roundtrip personally.
    12. The Sponsor is not responsible for any injury, harm or inconvenience that could occur on the roundtrip and by no means is responsible for attendants’ safety, health or wellbeing. The Sponsor is also not responsible for any misbehaviour, omission or mistake of attendants. The Sponsor is also not responsible for possibility of the Guggenheim gallery being closed on the respective Saturday, attendants have no right of refund or substitution in this case.
  8. Responsibility
    1. Sponsor is not responsible for and shall not be liable for:
      1. lost, late, delayed, damaged, incomplete, illegible, unintelligible, or misdirected entries;
      2. telephone, electronic, hardware or software program, network, Internet, or computer malfunctions, failures, or difficulties of any kind;
      3. failed, incomplete, partial, garbled, or delayed computer transmissions;
      4. any condition caused by events beyond the control of Sponsor that may cause the Contest to be disrupted or corrupted;
      5. any injuries, losses, or damages of any kind arising in connection with or as a result of a prize, or acceptance, possession, or use of a prize, or from participation in the Contest;
      6. any printing or typographical errors in any materials associated with the Contest;
      7. or any regional, state, autonomous, or local laws or regulations violated during the creation of the entries by the Contestant(s).
    2. Sponsor reserves the right to suspend, cancel, or modify the Contest if fraud or technical failure corrupts the administration, security, or proper play of the Contest, as determined by Sponsor in its sole discretion. In case that insufficient entries or mostly entries of insufficient quality are submitted into the Contest, the Sponsor may not award any prize including prize of Voters draw.
    3. Each Contestant and Voter agrees to release and hold Sponsor harmless from any and all losses, damages, rights, claims, and actions of any kind in connection with the Contest or resulting from acceptance, possession, or use of any prize, including, without limitation, personal injury, death, property damage, and claims based upon intellectual property infringement, publicity rights, defamation, or invasion of privacy.
    4. Participation in the Contest or receipt of any prize constitutes each Contestant’s and Voter’s and winner’s full and unconditional agreement to and acceptance of these Official Rules.
    5. Sponsors’ and judges’ decisions are final and binding in all matters related to the Contest.
    6. Winning a prize is contingent upon Contestant and Voters fulfilling all applicable requirements in these Official Rules.
    7. Each Contestant agrees that Sponsor’s only obligation is to provide promotional 2 months free Loop.gl Plus Plan and to submit entries from eligible Contestants to the judges according to the procedures and criteria set forth in these Official Rules and to award the prizes set forth herein to winners, subject to the terms and conditions herein. Contestant agrees that Sponsor’s obligation is fair and adequate consideration for any entry submitted, and that Contestant is not entitled to and shall not seek any further compensation.
    8. Each Voter agrees that Sponsor’s only obligation is to process randomized selection of one Voter account from all Voter accounts according to the procedures and criteria set forth in these Official Rules and to award the prize and promotional Loop.gl Plus Plan, as set forth herein to drew Voter, subject to the terms and conditions herein. Voter agrees that Sponsor’s obligation is fair and adequate consideration for any participation, and that Voter is not entitled to and shall not seek any further compensation.
  9. Copyright Ownership
    1. By submitting an entry as a sole creator to a category, Contestant warrants that Contestant is the sole designer, creator, and owner of the artwork, including all literary, textual, visual and auditory components and further warrants that the artwork does not contain any third party copyrighted works or information considered by Contestant’s place of business or any other third party to be confidential.
    2. Contestants will keep the Sponsor harmless from any claims in relation to their entry alleging that the entry infringes the personal or proprietary right of any other third party.
    3. All Contestants hereby grant royalty-free, nonexclusive, time limited for duration of 24 months, worldwide license to use, reproduce, distribute, publicly perform, publicly display, modify for purposes of publicly performing and publicly displaying, and to prepare derivative works based upon Contestant’s entry to Sponsor for the following purpose of advertising and promoting of Sponsor’s products or events similar to the Competition. Sponsor is allowed to display the entry on any Sponsor-owned or third-party website or other media for publicity purposes. Contestants further permit Sponsor to display their entries in a physical public exhibitions. The choice of which entries are included in any such exhibitions, display, or campaign shall be solely made by the Sponsor without consultation.
    4. Appropriate acknowledgments and credit will be given to each entry displayed, but Sponsor shall not be under any obligation to hold such exhibitions, displays, campaigns, or to include any or every entry.
  10. Personal data
    1. Sponsor will use any data submitted by Contestants only for the purposes of running the Contest. By entering this Contest, all Contestants consent to the use of their personal data by Sponsor for the purposes of the administration of this Contest and any other purposes to which the Contestant has consented.
    2. Each Contestant agrees that by submitting an entry, he or she allows the use of his or her personal data, name, likeness, and/or voice in publicity or advertising relating to the Contest without compensation.
    3. Each Contestant agrees to take part in reasonable post-contest publicity and to the use of their names and photographs in such publicity.
  11. Final provisions
    1. These terms and conditions are governed in accordance with the laws of England and Wales and the courts of the same shall have exclusive jurisdiction to settle any claims arising out of or in connection with this Contest.
